Sir Paul To Ringo.... I'm doing "fine" without Heather Mills

Sir Paul McCartney has assured former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr that he is doing "fine" without Heather Mills.

The long-time friends had an emotional reunion at an after show party for the Las Vegas premiere of 'Love' - a production inspired by the Beatles' music - on Friday.

An onlooker told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "They threw their arms around each other it was lovely to see.

"Ringo asked him, 'Are you alright?' and Paul replied, 'I'm fine'. Ringo seemed really concerned and said 'Are you sure?' Paul smiled at him, touched his arm and said, 'I'll be all right'."

The legendary musician split from Heather, his wife of four years, in May.

The 38-year-old charity campaigner has since been dogged by scandalous stories about her working as a prostitute and as a pornographic model.

Paul's attendance at the opening of the musical is his first pubic appearance since news of his divorce was revealed.

After the performance, he took to the stage at the Siegfried and Roy Theater and paid tribute to his deceased Beatles bandmates by exclaiming, "This is for John (Lennon) and George (Harrison)."

Ringo also revealed after the show: "It was emotional because the two of us aren't here. That really came home watching this."

The two surviving Beatles have been working on the project with John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, his first wife Cynthia and George's widow Olivia.

Yoko and Paul have been embroiled in a bitter row over Beatles' song credits for many years, but the pair appeared to publicly reconcile on stage when he planted a kiss on the 73-year-old's cheek.."
