McCartney Slams Reality Talent Shows


Sir Paul McCartney has slammed reality talent shows, saying they lack the originality to create real stars.The star also revealed that he does not believe that the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts will produce the next Beatles, either. Speaking at a ceremony to mark the tenth anniversary of the school's opening he said that great bands could not be taught but only emerged naturally."It's Pop Idol, Strictly Dancing, Strictly Ice Dancing, Strictly Walking. I get a bit bored with it," he said. "'They give kids a showcase but there's a danger that every TV show is becoming the same."
