Beatles to appeal Apple court ruling

The Beatles have vowed to fight on after losing their court battle over the Apple trademark, and will now take the case to the Court of Appeal.Apple chief Steve Jobs hoped that the two companies could now work together to put The Beatles back-catalogue on the iTunes service for the first time. However, Apple Corps, which is by owned by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the estates of John Lennon and George Harrison, declined the olive branch. "With great respect to the trial judge, we consider that he has reached the wrong conclusion," said Neil Aspinall, manager of Apple Corps."We felt that during the course of the trial we clearly demonstrated just how extensively Apple Computer had broken the agreement, and we will accordingly be filing an appeal and putting the case again to the Court of Appeal." Aspinall claimed that Apple Corps' firm of lawyers, Eversheds, believes that it has a good chance of overturning the decision on appeal.

I really feel like this whole Apple dispute has gotten very old. I do not know much about it but from what I do know I think the Beatles should just drop the case.

Yea, it's getting old. I read somewhere though that Steve Jobs did steal the name of Apple from the Beatles( I don't know if it's true though).
