Paul McCartney Made Keane Drummer Squeal

Keane’s Richard Hughes was reduced to a squealing little girl after Sir Paul McCartney shook his hand at Live 8.The drummer admits he sounded like Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton when he walked off stage after performing at last year’s overblown charity bash to be greeted by the former Beatle.He tells The Sun, “I came off stage at Live 8 and I was in this adrenaline-fuelled 'Did that really just happen?' state, and I heard this voice say, 'Well done!' It was a really familiar voice and I looked up and saw Sir Paul McCartney with his hand out!“I shook his hand and screeched, 'Oh my God!' in the most ridiculous Chantelle-pitched voice. He’d been at the side of the stage singing along!”
