My Thought’s on the Ringo Starr Concert

On July 3rd I went to see one of the most famous musicians of all time and his name was Ringo Starr. My seats were very good and I couldn’t believe that a Beatle was so close to me. Ringo started out with the song It Don’t Come Easy and got the whole crowd warmed up. Ringo would interact with the audience and make jokes about them. One lady brought up a picture of Ringo and Ringo said “that’s what I need another picture of myself”. I must say it was a thrill to watch Edgar Winter perform and I thought he gave an unbelievable performance. Ringo performed classic Beatles songs such as With a little Help from my Friends, Act Naturally and Yellow Submarine. As the concert ended I thought to myself about the day when I will be 64 and what a thrill it would be to tell my grand children that I watched a Beatle so close and watched the most famous drummer of all time.

Just one more week and I will be watching, did Edgar Winter play "Frankenstein"?

Jeff- Yea, he played Frankenstein, Free Ride and some other song. He was definitely the best all star Ringo had.
